Wagerr launches their new wallet under the version 3.0 and the name “Atlantic City” paving the way for more sports betting in the blockchain network through oracles, masternodes and other technologies. A hardfork has been scheduled for 26th July 2019 and the new wallet is available for download so node operators can update their machines in order to stay on the new chain.
“Atlantic City” Update Notes
There are many aspects of the wallet that will be changed with the new mandatory update but let’s focus on the most notable ones.
One of the highlights of the update is the raise of Wagerr’s profile and entering new markets. A big game changer for the project will be bringing the Electron Wallet to the Main Network as it will open up a lot of new markets. As Wagerr continues to grow, raising its profile is vital and its PR team is preparing new tactics for increasing awareness and bringing in more users to the network.
Another highlight of the update is the new connections, team members and software development achievements that will come. As the project grows in popularity more and more crypto and related technology experts are attracted by it as well as the team getting new members to work with. Meanwhile, the software development team of Wagerr is full speed ahead when it comes to delivering reliable betting protocols for the network.

Preparing for Fork Day
As mentioned earlier, you can download the new daemon for the wallet before the fork has happened in order to prepare. Make sure to back up everything before the update.
On the day of the fork, which is scheduled on 26th July 2019 all masternodes that are working on the old wallet will become incompatible and will not generate rewards on the main chain. A good idea is to update just before the fork happens and a reset is issued.
In case that you are still holding some zWGR v2, you should spend them from the Qt Wallet due to the fact that Electron Wallet will be joining the main net and will not support zWGR. It will become spendable on the 29th July at block 752,900.
