TE-FOOD’s Masternode Conditions: How to Become an Operator

Born as a ‘farm-to-table’ traceable ecosystem, based on blockchain, TE-Food is expanding their network. Following all the logistic activities and the chain supply up to this moment, the project finally decided to implement Masternodes on their platform.

process from primary producer to consumer

TE-Food Masternodes

This isn’t the ordinary Masternode. It is going to work with a stable token, named Calories (CAL), which isn’t going to have price volatility. Respectively, this model won’t offer high revenues, when compared to the ones with virtual tokens. Anyway, there are three tiers required for the purpose of building the network. If transactions grow faster than the Masternodes’ capacity, there will be some Sleeping Masternodes to cover the lacks. Here are the estimated node numbers:

Tier/Period Tier 1: November, 2018 Tier 2: December, 2018 Tier 3: January, 2019
Steel 3 15 30
Platinum 3 10 20
Titanium 3 5 10

Interested to know the planned value for a token? 1 CAL is going to be about 0.00043 USD.

Estimated conditions

TE-Food’s team expect a rough estimate of 70 000-100 000 transactions by the beginning of the next year and 200 000-250 000 until the half of 2019. If this is a reasonable calculation, we might consider that TE-Food can become one of the best performants in term of daily transaction number. You might be wondering what’s the selection mechanism to work with – there are several criteria to check here:

  • The smaller reputation gets priority
  • The larger contracted period is up in the list
  • The longer days of eligibility are more important
  • The earlier registration date is always considered

Onboard Masternodes

How do they plan the onboarding process? It’s a matter of several steps to accomplish it:

Step 1: Sign in the Masternodes Management Portal (for both Masternodes and Sleeping Masternodes)

Step 2: Data verification from TE-Food and signing contracts with chosen node operator

Step 3: Candidates provide a TFD license tokens and wait for notification that your account is active

Step 4: Finally download and install the framework and start operating.

Minimum requirements

Check on what you need to cover to become a Te-Food Masternode in the table below:

Type Storage (SSD) Memory (GB) CPU
Steel 40 GB 2 GB 1 Core
Platinum 60 GB 4 GB 2 Cores
Titanium 100 GB 8 GB 4 Cores

Testnet

This October TE-Food launched their test net, which is going to store thousands of transactions, made by their business customers. It is going to trace and clear all the data from the Calories system, using a consensus protocol. Their developers have started testing Masternodes internally. The TFD token will remain an ERC-20 one, and for the purpose of implementing Masternodes, the team has created the already mentioned CAL token. By the end of October, we’re observing the operational version of the test net.
