Tooltips

Yes, you read it right. Block DX now has tooltips which will help inform users regarding different details of using a decentralized exchange. They can also be used for reminders or troubleshooting. These tooltips are applied to the Balance, Order Book and Order Form panels with more to come in the future along with an improved onboarding system.

Layout Changes

The interface layout for the Getting Started, General Settings and Terms of Service screens has been updated to be more responsive and have better scaling. This way the UI elements like buttons will always be visible.

Take Orders with Just a Right-Click

The new update also brings the ability to take orders with just a right click. This makes the action much faster and the order is taken automatically rather than requiring manual populating of the form and selection of the “place order” button.

Wallet Refresh Button

With the new update, now you can manually refresh your wallets and balances with just the click of a button. This button will eliminate the rare occurrence of delays when adding a new wallet or waiting for a re-check. This way you can go back to your trading as soon as possible.

Other Improvements and Bug Fixes

Just as any other update that Block DX put out, there are some smaller but just as important improvements along with the larger features. Let’s take a look at them.

Quality of Life Improvements / User Experience Improvements

There were many small changes that are considered to be an improvement on the user experience and a total quality of life change in a positive direction. These changes include:

  • Addition of a list of compatible assets and wallets improving accessibility

Bug Fixes

Of course, there are also many bug fixes along with the new update. These fixes include and are not limited to:

  • Updating the Balances Panel to show correct values
  • The “Sum” value in the depth chart balloon has been improved as well converting it to a number type instead of a decimal object
