Get to Know the Crave Masternode
Observing the Crave project, it’s necessary to note the dedication of the team toward preserving users’ anonymity. The developers have integrated a Zerocoin Protocol for payments, as it makes them hard to trace because of the broken link between a user’s address and his funds. In addition to that, hosting a Crave masternode not only supports the network but entitles you to receiving a portion of the block reward as an incentive. About 9% of total block reward is allocated to developing the project’s implementations. To get started, you’ll need 5000 CRAVE coins as collateral. Keep on reading to find out how to setup your Crave masternode and what kind of payout you can expect.
How to Make Money From CRAVE Masternodes
Having a more precise look of the Crave’s block reward, it’s currently at 11 coins per block. If we think of it as 11 pieces in total, 6 parts of it go for masternodes compensations, 4 – for staking rewards and 1 in the project’s budget.
Heard of the global Crave masternodes list but not completely sure for what it’s all about? Well, if you’re running one in more than 2 hours, you’re directly listed into it. Your position there would depend on the time of your last payments, registered in the blockchain.
There’s also something called a selection pool, where are combined the top 10% of the global list’s performants. Let’s say the list contains a thousand users waiting in a queue, the first hundred of them are in the last-mentioned pool, respectively they’re more likely to win the next reward, even if there’s no specific order of choosing.
Once you’re in the selection pool, the probability for you to win is completely random. Each of the users in it has the same chance of gaining the next block reward. However, based on estimates, with 1100 masternodes running on the Crave network, you can expect your first reward in roughly 48 hours.
